1. Must attend meeting on Fri. Feb. 26th to get detailed information on submissions

2. Audition video submissions due Fri. Mar. 5th

CAST LIST:

REHEARSALS

1. Rehearsals will start in Zoom

2. We will build a detailed scheduled based on cast/director availability

3. As we get closer to the recording dates, we will meet in person

 

TECH WEEK & PERFORMANCES:

1. We will be filming this production in the Black Box Theater

2. There will be mandatory in person rehearsals/filming days in May

3. The final production is projected for completion and streaming during the first week of June

 

SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

We will comply with the Studio/SAG/Equity Union regulations for COVID-19 safety regulations throughout the rehearsal process: prior to in-person rehearsals all cast and crew members must take and return with a negative COVID test; when in person, masks are to be worn at all times; only those being recorded may remove their masks until tape stops, then they must put their masks back on. 

 

ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS:

Cast will comply with Equity attendance rules: a combination of being late and/or absent three times constitutes being dropped and replaced for that role. Leads are expected to LEAD and that means with attitude and effort. Those that cannot comply will lose that opportunity.

If you commit to being in the cast of Songs for a New World, you are not permitted to be in outside performing arts productions or projects simultaneously.
